- Candace : If gov't presents those choices to me, I would write in "Rita Pro-Life" or something similar as my candidate of choice. It has taken me a long, long time to come to this conclusion..that I will be held accountable before a holy God for how I vote.
- Aaron Willia : You cannot. However, if you had the choice of voting for someone who was ambivalant or mildly tolerant of abortion and voting for a fringe candidate or not voting -- what would amount to a vote for an opposing candidate who is for aboirtion on demand -- what do you do?
- Candace : Aaron, the right to life comes from God, not government. That is basic in our founding documents. How am I confirming this by laying aside the abortion issue? And YES! Dangerous places...BTW Allred and a camera LOL!!!

- Aaron Willia : I think one thing we can all agree upon: The most dangerous place in the world to be is between Gloria Allred and a camera.
- Candace : Denny, I went through the Illinois ballot and did some research before the election. I want to honor God when I vote. I'm a sinner like anybody else. I'm looking for candidate who will uphold God's standards, not sinless candidates.
- Ken : Denny...U said that u have issues with Saxby...I have more with Johnny I...I would rather have had Herman Cain as our Senator then Johnny I....
- Aaron Willia : Of course not, my Christianity is the same when I'm in the ballot booth or not. But to paraphrase John Calipari -- Jesus ain't walking through that door anytime soon, so you have to make your best judgements on whom will make the best decisions while in office, and most importantly, whom will allow you to keep your freedom to choose your life, liberty and pursue the religion of your choice.

- Candace : When we look like the world, we will lose to the world. Aaron, do you believe that your personal Christianity is separate from your voting? I used to separate the two myself.
- Aaron Willia : In a perfect world, I've vote for the perfect candidate. Last time I checked, there weren't many of them out there.

- jim patterso : The Christianity of the Templars could stand up to the islamofascists. The Christianity of today can't.
- jim patterso : Obama is turning into a fascist, which is a type of socialism and differs form communism in that it lacks the international part. Obama appears intent on destroying this country as it has stood for 220 years. I don;t think that Romney would do that, hence i am a fan of his.
- Candace : We just can't walk into the voting booth and forget that we represent Jesus Christ to the world. We are His representatives first. Ppl want us to stand up for what we profess as Christians. The world is hungry for people with conviction!
- Ken : Denny: I agree with you, but IF he repents the we are required to forgive him in Christ. So only time will tell.
- Candace : Aaron, we could have some long discussions on that...As a Christian and Bible study leader, I believe I am accountable to God for how I vote. I wouldn't buy a piece of meat if it was only 80% good. I'm not going to vote for someone who holds only 80% of my beliefs. Abortion is murder. Can't even sanction that in my vote as a state's right.
- Aaron Willia : True enough Candace, but people have issues that matter more to them than do others. For example, you can't stand Romney because of his stand on abortion and gay marriage, for myself, it's not as important of an issue.
- Candace : I don't know, Aaron...It depends...Conservative is conservative. It's not just a name. Anyone who wears a label in name only will not last. People need a true choice, not the moderate thing. Run a true conservative against Saul Alinsky's protege' (Obama) and he will lose.
- Candace : Sorry....I got distracted by Denny's remark about Sanford Pants on the Ground. LOL
- Aaron Willia : true enough on both accounts. but if the tea partiers go the way of the Libertarian party and demand 100% purity or nothing, they'll split the conservative vote.

- Candace : If the Tea Party movement gets RINOs to get back to basics, Obama will be the one termer that Denny says he is.
